I was looking at the pocketnc to prototype watch parts. I was looking to use the machine to learn CNC programming.
My question is not being a “generic” 3 axis machine is the pocketnc hard to learn?
What are the tolerances people have been able to easily consistently hit? Most my parts have a 150um tolerance built in for the larger components which sounds like should be easily achievable but as you go further down the scale what is the lowest you can maintain without really dialing it in?
As someone who is learning CNC should lack of part cooling be a concern? Other than speed does not having cooling significantly impact the surface finishing?
