Yes, the Solo uses the Beaglebone AI.
Thanks John. If mine fails, do I need a replacement from Penta or will a board from any vendor work?
It’s possible to get one from another vendor working, but it would certainly be easier to get one from Penta. Also, I’m unaware of any vendors that currently stock the Beaglebone AI.
I was just thinking about having spares of any critical parts on hand, especially those that may be custom or proprietary. Is there a list of those available anywhere?
Hey Mike, sorry for the delay on this. I have been informed that we have a lot of extras and replacement parts for the Solo and there is no plan to stop support on it any time soon. So, unless you just want extra parts on-hand for convenience, there is no need to stock up.
