Enclosure opened while program is running. program has been paused

Troubleshooting the Pocket NC

Cant even do a spindle warm up on both of my pocket NC v2-50
they have the original penta enclosure, with safety switches all in order.
New here, please help me bypass or fix the issue.

Hi Charles-Olivier,

I am sorry to hear you are having some trouble with your machines!

Are these machines brand new? Could you provide me with their serial numbers?

Here are some things to check to ensure the safety switch is working properly:

  1. Check that the switch cable/wire is securely connected to the connector on side of the machine and that the connector on the machine feels secure and not loose.

  2. Check that switch is triggering when the enclosure is closed. This is indicated by a red LED turning on.

  3. If the switch does not appear to be triggering when the enclosure lid is closed, make sure the magnet mount and switch mount are adjusted on the enclosure so that the magnet can get as close as possible to the switch.

  4. If the mounts seem to be adjusted and set properly and the switch is still not triggering, try taking another magnet and putting it on the switch to see if that triggers it.

Give these things a try and let me know what you find and then we can go from there!

Okay, so it appears the included magnet is not strong enough to trigger the switch, so i placed a stronger magnet to bypass, thanks!
